About Us

As a foundation, we have the privilege of partnering with ministries in Bolivia that are obedient to the Great Commission and have decades of fruit-bearing gospel witness as their testimony. In many ways, the scope and breadth of their ministry in Bolivia is unlike anything we can relate to in the United States.

Landlocked and very rugged, Bolivia is South America’s poorest nation. Still God’s grace has allowed the Christian Church in Bolivia to gain a solid reputation, and a great deal of respect among the people. The Church has a large and active presence in La Paz, the nation’s capital. Several Bible-believing congregations meet throughout the week in La Paz. They have fostered a large Christian school and training center, an orphanage, multiple rehabilitation ministries, outreaches to the homeless and imprisoned, and an influence that has spread throughout the country.

The Church in La Paz has planted multiple churches in the surrounding areas and has sent missionaries into undeveloped parts of the country to work as frontier church planters with the indigenous population over 100 miles away.

These are groups of believers that we can learn much from as American Christians. We count it a privilege to be able to partner with such ministries and support their work in any way we can. We know that we are not the experts. We are not able to have the most fruitful ministry among their countrymen. The Bolivian believers are already faithful and fruitful. It is amazing to see what they have done with so few material resources. We are simply seeking to help assist them with much needed funds and supplemental personal resources so that they can continue and expand the gospel work they are already engaged in. By God’s grace, our work will be naught but a support structure to their ministry.

Our History

The Bolivia Missions Foundation was officially founded in 2010 by Christopher Deloglos, along with a team of others who had returned from a short-term trip. However, Chris, his wife Maria, and their family had a heart for the country long before. Maria grew up in La Paz and they had returned to serve in the area many times. Since it’s start in 2010, the foundation has raised much support for Christian ministries around Bolivia, as well has facilitated short-term trips in the summers of 2014 and 2015. This year, for the first time in it’s history, the Bolivia Missions Foundation is sending three separate teams to serve in varying capacities over the summer. Looking forward, the Board of Directors is excited to continue seeking the Lord’s plans for this ministry in the years to come.

Our Vision

Our vision is to partner with faith-based organizations in Bolivia and the United States to facilitate, fund, and support education, relief efforts, and mission teams throughout the nation of Bolivia.
